Project Manager – Control Systems Contract: 6 Months (Likely Extension) Location: Brisbane, QLD Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH We're seeking an experienced Project Manager – Control Systems to lead the delivery of technology and operational technology (OT) projects within a large industrial environment.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in control systems, stakeholder management, and delivering complex technical projects from initiation through to completion.
Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end project delivery across the full project lifecycle.
Define project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and delivery strategies.
Manage project risks, issues, governance, reporting, and financials.
Engage with business stakeholders, technical SMEs, vendors, and project teams.
Oversee procurement, contract management, and resource planning.
Drive change management, technical change, release, and transition activities.
Lead project governance, stage gates, and funding approvals.
Manage and mentor a small project team.
Skills Experience Proven experience managing Operational Technology (OT) and Control Systems projects.
Strong understanding of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and Safety Systems .




Previous experience within mining, industrial, or electrical environments is highly regarded.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
Relevant tertiary qualification.
