Programmed Apprenticeships Traineeships is seeking a motivated Apprentice Parts Interpreter to join our host employer based in Smithfield, NSW .

You'll earn while you learn, complete a nationally recognised qualification, and gain hands-on experience working alongside skilled industry professionals in a supportive workshop environment.
The Role As an Apprentice Parts Interpreter, you will learn how to identify, source, and manage parts for heavy vehicles, transmissions, and related components while supporting day-to-day workshop operations.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll develop valuable technical knowledge and customer service skills while gaining exposure to a wide range of trucks, machinery, and mechanical systems.
Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with identifying and ordering parts for heavy vehicles and transmission systems Learning parts catalogues, systems, and inventory processes Supporting workshop operations and technicians Developing strong product knowledge and industry skills Providing professional customer service and support What We Offer Full-time 36-month apprenticeship Certificate III qualification with all TAFE fees covered Uniform and PPE provided Onsite parking available Dedicated mentors and ongoing support throughout your apprenticeship Hands-on experience in a large and supportive workshop environment Exposure to a wide range of heavy vehicles, components, and machinery Performance-based pay increase within your first six months Genuine long-term career opportunities in a growing industry What You'll Bring A positive attitude and solid work ethic Reliability and commitment to learning An interest in automotive, mechanical, or technical fields Good communication and teamwork skills Motivation to build a successful career No previous experience is required.
