Commercial Surface Solutions is seeking an experienced Protective Coatings Painter to join our growing team.
This is a full-time position working on a variety of commercial projects involving liquid waterproofing membranes, protective coatings and remedial surface treatments.
Key responsibilities include: Reading project plans and specifications to determine surface preparation and coating requirements.
Preparing surfaces by cleaning, grinding, repairing cracks and applying primers.
Preparing and mixing coating materials in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
Applying liquid waterproofing membranes, protective coatings and sealants using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
Ensuring coatings are applied to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications.
Repairing and recoating existing waterproofing and protective coating systems where required.
Protecting surrounding surfaces and maintaining a clean and safe work area.




Working with supervisors and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
To be successful in this role, you will have: At least 1 year experience in a similar role Sound knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating application methods.
Ability to read and interpret plans and project specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
