We are looking for an exceptional individual to join this organisation on a permanent basis, working closely with the leadership team.

As the Manager Operational Risk, you will come from another Financial Services organisation or risk advisory business to work closely with the Senior Manager of Operational Risk.
You will also be working closely with the business and a broad group of risk and compliance professionals in varying functions.
Strong business acumen is essential as you will be a key communicator across the business for this group's initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining the Risk Management Framework Identification,



assessment and reporting of operational risks Assist with the management and development of the team Develop and facilitate risk management training Work with the business to develop practical risk management strategies and ensure all incidents are adequately resolved Project work in the risk management area To be successful in this role you will 4 years or more, experience in a risk role within the banking, insurance or financial services industry.
An operational risk management background is preferred particularly an understanding of ISO *****.
Working knowledge of consumer credit and privacy law, and trade practices legislation is essential.
Problem solving, project management and analytical skills are also key.
Team management skills will be highly regarded.
Ideally you will be come from either a consumer retail Banking background with exposure for home loans and asset finance or have worked in Assurance Advisory within a Chartered firm.
Candidates who have, or are working towards a risk management qualification, will be looked upon favourably.
