About the Role: In this role, you will support the School of Design and the Built Environment with leading and managing our Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs.
Our school offers various WIL opportunities including work experience, internships (domestic and international), site visits and study tours.
You will be the conduit between students, Industry Partners and Academic staff to ensure all fieldwork activities run effectively and comply with fieldwork and the school's processes.
Your role will involve maintaining existing relationships, and developing new partnerships with industry through actively promoting our WIL opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include: Maintain and foster strong partnerships with industry and community stakeholders for ongoing WIL opportunities in consultation with academic course, major unit coordinators.
Manage the formalisation of WIL partnerships with relevant industry partners, including the preparation and finalisation of contractual agreements.
Provide sound advice to students and external partners regarding the School's WIL programs.
Working in collaboration with a range of stakeholders including Academics, Industry Partners, other WIL teams within the University,



Curtin's Legal team and the School's Leadership team.
Ensuring that WIL processes and policies are followed and adhered to.
Promoting WIL opportunities to students via various platforms and managing the end to end application process.
Establishing regular contact between industry partners and students.
Collating feedback and working with Unit Coordinators/Project leads if any issues occur.
Facilitating pre-briefing presentation workshops with students prior to them undertaking WIL activities and guiding them on how to complete tasks including fieldwork risk assessments and travel requests.
Ensuring that sites and practices our students attend for fieldwork purposes are safe environments.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, procedures and ways of working.
Key requirements Strong organisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines A passion for creating memorable student experiences Exceptional communication skills Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills The ability to plan, coordinate and implement activities to achieve desired outcomes.
Previous experience in a WIL role or similar (desirable) Experience using the system Sonia (desirable) Role Requirements: As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered Part-time hours 0.8 FTE 30 hours per week, we are happy to discuss in the interview what working days and arrangements may suit best.
