We are currently seeking a qualified, experienced, and self-motivated Retail Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fuel station and convenience store, managing staff, maintaining inventory and stock levels, monitoring sales performance, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, and delivering outstanding customer service while supporting the continued growth and profitability of the business.
Responsibilities 1.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fuel station and convenience store, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance with company policies.
2.Plan, coordinate, and supervise retail staff, including rostering, training, performance management, and maintaining high customer service standards.
3.Monitor inventory levels, order fuel, retail merchandise, and store supplies, and ensure accurate stock control and timely replenishment.
4.Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional activities, and merchandising displays to maximise revenue and improve customer experience.
5.Monitor sales performance, prepare operational and financial reports, and implement measures to achieve business targets and profitability.
6.Manage cash handling procedures,



banking, point-of-sale (POS) operations, and ensure the accuracy of daily financial reconciliations.
7.Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS), fuel handling regulations, environmental standards, and all relevant legislative requirements.
8.Resolve customer enquiries, complaints, and service issues promptly while maintaining robust customer relationships and a positive shopping experience.
9.Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of fuel, retail products, and operational supplies.
10.
Maintain the overall presentation, cleanliness, security, and operational readiness of the retail premises, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For ·Diploma or higher qualification in Retail Management, Business, Management, or a related field.
·At least one year of relevant work experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar retail supervisory or management role.
·Sound knowledge of retail operations, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service principles.
·Strong understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS), fuel retail compliance requirements, and cash handling procedures.
·Proven ability to lead and motivate a team while managing operations in a fast-paced retail environment.
·Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills with the ability to meet business targets.
·Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
