With continued business growth and a robust pipeline of major electrical projects, this is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate looking to build their career in a commercial, hands-on environment.
You'll work closely with the finance team and gain practical exposure across day-to-day accounting, reporting and financial processes.
Rather than being limited to one area, you'll have the opportunity to develop a broad understanding of finance within a large and growing contracting business.
Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day accounting and finance activities across the business Support month-end processes, reconciliations and financial reporting Assist with accounts payable,
receivable and general ledger transactions Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation Work closely with the finance team while taking on greater responsibility as you develop Support with end-to-end payroll processing What You'll Bring Recently completed or nearing completion of an Accounting degree Strong interest in developing a long-term career in accounting and finance Sound understanding of accounting principles from university studies Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment Salary Benefits Up to $90K + Super, depending on experience Excellent entry point into the finance team of a Tier 1 electrical contractor Hands-on exposure across multiple areas of accounting and finance Support from an established finance team while developing your skills Opportunity to grow your responsibilities as the business continues to expand Long-term career development within a successful contracting environment Ready to Start Your Accounting Career?
