ABOUT THE ROLE As a Painter at DAR Painting Services Pty, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the visual appeal and durability of a variety of surfaces.
This position is integral to our operations, ensuring the high standards our clients have come to expect.
You will be responsible for executing painting tasks with precision and care, contributing to our team's success and our clients' satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, and sanding.
- Mix and match paint, stain, and other finishes to achieve desired colour outcomes.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
- Protect surrounding areas and structures during painting projects.
- Repair surfaces and remove old paint using tools like paint removers and wire brushes.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Strictly adhere to safety and environmental standards.




- Conduct quality control checks to guarantee top-notch results.
- Communicate effectively with clients and address any concerns or questions.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Proven experience and skills in painting techniques and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights if necessary.
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role is required.
Qualifications and Certifications: Certificate III in Painting and decoration.
Valid driver's licence.
White card (preferred).
