Conditions: Located just south of the Tropic of Capricorn, this locum will take you off the beaten track in central QLD where you can enjoy a beautiful part of the country and participate in a rewarding locum.
You will be working for a community controlled Indigenous Health service, working in the mobile outreach clinic accompanied by a RN and Aboriginal Health workers.
It is Monday-Thursdays 8am-5pm and Friday from 8am-3pm, with no on call or weekend work.
There is time allowed for a morning and afternoon tea break as well as for a lunch break.
The full days are paid at $**** per day and on Friday an hourly rate of $****** is paid, along with travel and accommodation support being provided.
The facility is an initiative aimed at closing the gap and it is fully bulk-billed,
providing a culturally appropriate services to it's people whilst advocating for equitable health outcomes.
In this clinic is it a split of around 70%/30% indigenous to non-indigenous patients.
Best Practice software is in use and standard consultation times are 20 minutes.
The accommodation is private self-contained units with kitchen and laundry facilities as well as air-conditioning.
