Due to growth, we are seeking a Fitter to join their workshop team in Mackay to assist with testing, diagnosing and undertaking minor repairs on a wide variety of components and systems.
Key Responsibilities: Operate test benches for transmissions, torque converters, scabs, hydraulic controls and DCV's.
Test a broad range of components to ensure performance and compliance.
Diagnose faults and carry out minor repairs as required.
Accurately record test results and maintain documentation.
Work collaboratively with workshop and quality teams to ensure turnaround times and standards are met.

modern facility Long-term employment and development opportunities Free Employee Assistance Program - for you and your family What we're looking for: Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Caterpillar knowledge and experience highly favourable Current Driver's Licence High Risk Licence - LF (Forklift) Strong understanding of transmissions, torque converters, hydraulic controls/DCV's.
Reliable and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
