About the role Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Systems Management Accountant to join our Finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with strong accounting knowledge, financial systems expertise, and a passion for process improvement to play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality financial management and reporting across the organisation.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Lead the maintenance, enhancement and continuous improvement of Council's Financial Management Information System (FMIS), ensuring data integrity and reliable financial reporting Support the preparation of Council's Annual Budget, Quarterly Budget Reviews and Long Term Financial Plan Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to improve financial processes, reporting and system functionality Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards and reporting tools to deliver meaningful business insights Coordinate testing, implementation and support for financial system upgrades, enhancements and current functionality Provide expert advice,
