We are rapidly progressing the Mardie Salt Operation and Potash Project (Mardie Operation), a tier 1 solar evaporation project that will supply high-purity industrial salt and sulphate of potash (SOP) for more than 60 years.
Mardie will be the largest salt operation in Australia and the third largest globally.

The Role As a Process Operator at Mardie, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our solar salt evaporation ponds, harvesting equipment and processing facilities.
You'll help ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, environmental stewardship and operational excellence.
Every day will see you monitoring process performance, carrying out field maintenance, supporting the implementation of safety management systems and working closely with the team to continuously improve how we operate.

About You: To succeed in this role, you'll bring proven experience as a Process Operator with the ability to confidently carry out day-to-day operational activities in a heavy industrial or mining setting.
You'll hold a current Construction Induction Card (White Card), First Aid and CPR qualifications, and an unrestricted WA HR Driver's Licence.
If you have worked on a salt mine in the past, this will be highly advantageous, along with familiarity with control systems such as SCADA and Rockwell Automation.
We are looking for individuals who are familiar with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as Pronto, SAP or MEX.
Additional tickets and licences, such as a Remote Pilot (RePL) Drone Licence, mobile equipment competencies (Telehandler, Excavator or Skid Steer), and Confined Space, Gas Test Atmospheres and Working at Heights certifications, will be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be required to provide a national police clearance that is not older than 6 months and you must hold a WA White Card.
You must have current unrestricted working rights for Australia to be eligible for consideration.
