Position: Fleet Manager |Full Time GURU HUNDAL FREIGHTLINES (AUS) PTY LTD is Seeking for experienced and highly organised Fleet Manager to oversee the Day to day Operations of business the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's transport fleet, ensuring vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Australian transport regulations.
You will work closely with drivers, maintenance providers, customers, and management to optimise fleet performance, control operating costs, and deliver outstanding service.
Location – VIC **** Salary: $***** - $***** + Superannuation Key Duties and Responsibilities 1.
Coordinate the procurement, servicing, and upkeep of transport vehicles, equipment, and fuel resources to ensure effective fleet operations.
2.Communicate with clients to understand their transportation needs, provide guidance on suitable vehicle options, rental or purchase terms, and address customer enquiries and complaints promptly.
3.Process transport requests and bookings while developing and managing transportation schedules to ensure timely service delivery.
4.Monitor the storage and transportation of goods to ensure they are handled under appropriate conditions that preserve their quality and integrity.




5.Organise and oversee the collection, dispatch, and delivery of vehicles and freight in accordance with operational requirements.
6.Maintain accurate business records and prepare operational reports, performance summaries, and other relevant documentation.
7.Coordinate activities related to the arrival, departure, loading, and unloading of rail freight to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
8.
Ensure all transport activities comply with occupational health and safety (OHS) standards, company policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Skills and Requirements AQF Diploma or Advanced Diploma or relevant qualification Relevant experience as a Fleet Manager, transport operations, or the logistics industry.
Sound understanding of Australian road transport regulations, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements.
Proficiency in fleet management systems, transport management software, GPS tracking, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
