Tier 1 Commercial Projects | Major Live Environments | Melbourne A leading contractor within the fire and building services space is seeking an experienced Dry Fire Project Manager to join their growing projects division in Melbourne.
This is an prospect to step into large scale, technically complex projects within live operational environments, working alongside high performing teams delivering critical infrastructure and major commercial upgrades across Victoria.
The Role You will take ownership of dry fire projects from mobilisation through to handover, leading all aspects of delivery including: • Project planning and coordination • Procurement and subcontractor management • Client and stakeholder communication • Cost control, variations and forecasting • Testing, commissioning and handover • Quality assurance and project documentation • Managing interfaces across electrical, mechanical, BMS, security, and essential services systems • Leading site teams within live operational environments while maintaining safety, compliance and programme delivery This role will suit someone who enjoys technically challenging projects, structured delivery environments and working closely with Tier 1 clients and stakeholders.
What We're Looking For • Demonstrated Project Management experience within fire, electrical, mechanical or essential services construction • Strong dry fire systems knowledge including FIP/FDCIE, EWIS/OWS, devices, cause and effect,



testing and commissioning • Experience delivering projects within live environments such as commercial towers, hospitals, transport infrastructure, industrial sites, hotels or similar critical facilities • Understanding of NCC/BCA, Australian Standards, fire engineering principles, QA processes and ITPs • Strong commercial and project controls exposure including procurement, claims, variations, forecasting and cost to complete • Competency across MS Project, Excel and project reporting systems • Ability to lead teams, build client relationships and drive outcomes in fast paced environments What's On Offer • Major high profile project exposure • Strong pipeline of secured works • Supportive and technically strong leadership team • Excellent long term career progression • Opportunity to work within highly structured Tier 1 style environments • Competitive salary package based on experience I'm currently working on multiple opportunities across the Dry Fire and Building Services project space, ranging from Project Managers through to Senior Project and Technical Leadership positions.
