The centre offers approved funded 3 and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten programs, nutritious meals prepared daily by an onsite chef, and an additional fitness program, while providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive workplace where every child is respected, valued, and supported.
We are committed to delivering high-quality, play-based learning experiences that promote children's learning, development, and wellbeing, creating a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Key Responsibilities ·Plan, implement and evaluate high-quality educational programs for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).
·Design and facilitate engaging play-based learning experiences that support children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical and language development while fostering creativity, curiosity, independence and problem-solving skills.
·Observe, assess, document and evaluate children's learning, development and wellbeing, maintaining accurate records to inform curriculum planning and individual learning outcomes.
·Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports the participation, wellbeing and diverse needs of all children.
·Lead the day-to-day educational program within the assigned room, providing professional guidance,



mentoring and support to educators to ensure high-quality teaching practices.
·Collaborate with the Educational Leader and management to develop, implement, review and continuously improve educational programs, teaching practices and curriculum outcomes.
·Build and maintain positive, respectful and collaborative relationships with children, families, colleagues and external professionals to support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
·Promote inclusive education by adapting learning experiences to meet the individual needs, strengths, interests and developmental goals of every child, including children with additional needs.
·Prepare children's learning documentation, developmental assessments and family communications using approved documentation and assessment methods.
·Contribute to the Service's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) through reflective practice, self-assessment and continuous improvement initiatives.
·Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, Child Safe Standards, Work Health and Safety requirements, Service policies and all relevant legislative obligations.
·Promote children's health, safety and wellbeing by implementing child protection requirements, maintaining appropriate supervision, supporting safe learning environments and complying with mandatory reporting obligations.
·Participate in professional development, team meetings and educational planning to maintain contemporary knowledge of early childhood education,



child development and evidence-based teaching practices.
·Support the effective daily operation of the Service and, where appointed as the Responsible Person, undertake responsibilities in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the Service's policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience ·Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) that is recognised by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
·Current registration/accreditation as an Early Childhood Teacher where required under the relevant State or Territory legislation.
·At least one year of relevant post-qualification experience as an Early Childhood Teacher.
Candidates with extensive relevant experience may be considered.
·Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), National Quality Framework (NQF), Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, Child Safe Standards and child protection requirements.
·Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management qualifications recognised for the education and care sector.
·Current Working with Children Check and evidence of mandatory child protection training.
·Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
