Chance An exciting opportunity is available for a committed and compassionate Geriatrician to join a growing Department of Medicine within a regional health service.
This role offers the chance to provide high-quality, patient-centred care to an ageing and diverse population while playing a key part in shaping and expanding contemporary geriatric services.
The position provides senior clinical leadership across a range of care settings, with a strong focus on innovative models of care for frail older people, including rapid access frailty services, virtual geriatric care, cognitive and behavioural services, orthogeriatric care, rehabilitation, and consultant oversight of a dedicated Geriatric Evaluation and Management unit.

Within the Department of Medicine, geriatric services are well established and continue to evolve in response to community needs, supported by multidisciplinary teams and strong links across acute, subacute, ambulatory, and community care pathways.

Requirements • Specialist registration with AHPRA/FRACP – Geriatrics • Currently enrolled in the RACP-Geri training program and within 6 months of fellowship • IMG with a confirmed RACP interview date • IMG assessed by RACP and deemed substantially comparable • UK CCT
