About the Role We're seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function for a growing business within the construction industry.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll oversee all financial operations, provide strategic commercial insights, and lead a high-performing finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys balancing day-to-day financial management with strategic business partnering in a fast-paced environment.




Key Responsibilities Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, taxation, and statutory obligations.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while strengthening financial controls and governance.
Partner with senior leadership to deliver commercial insights and support strategic decision-making.
About You Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA or CA highly regarded).
7+ years' experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role.
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Proven leadership experience with solid commercial acumen and the ability to influence business decisions.
