About the Role Reporting to the Manager People Culture, you will coordinate the day-to-day delivery of People Culture services across the organisation, ensuring consistent, high-quality support to leaders and employees.
You will provide leadership and coordination across: People Business Partner Learning Development Officer Talent Acquisition Officer Administration Officer - People Culture This is a diverse leadership role covering:



Employee and Industrial Relations Workforce Planning Talent Acquisition Learning and Development Workers Compensation and Return to Work Workplace Wellbeing HR Operations Policy Development Strategic People Projects Key Responsibilities Coordinate the operational delivery of the People Culture function.
Mentor and support a multidisciplinary HR team.
Provide expert advice to managers on complex employee and industrial relations matters.
Lead workforce planning, recruitment and organisational capability initiatives.
Oversee Workers Compensation, Return to Work and wellbeing programs.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, Enterprise Agreements and Council policies.
Build strong relationships with Executive, senior leaders, employees, unions and external stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement across HR systems, processes and service delivery.
Prepare workforce reports, insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
At least five years' experience in a senior Human Resources or People Culture role.




Strong knowledge of Employee Relations, Industrial Relations and employment legislation.
Experience leading or coordinating multiple HR functions.
Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to influence leaders and build trusted relationships.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience within Local Government or another highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.
