TRS Resourcing is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a stable, full-time operation based in clients' workshops across Melbourne's North Suburbs .
This is a hands-on role for someone who knows prime movers inside and out and wants long-term security, strong earning potential, and quality equipment to work on.
What's in it for you?
Up to $120,000 per year (depending on experience) Permanent full-time role – no temp-to-perm or labour-hire conversion Work within a large, well-established fleet maintenance environment Consistent workload and professional workshop conditions Your day-to-day will include: Servicing, repairing, and maintaining heavy prime movers Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out corrective repairs Major mechanical work, including component rebuilds Working autonomously or as part of a skilled maintenance team Maintaining high standards of safety, quality,
and productivity What we're looking for: Trade qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) Proven experience with prime movers, trailers, or heavy vehicles Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently or within a team Based in Victoria (Melbourne) or willing to relocate Full Australian work rights Contactable references from at least two previous employers If you're a skilled Diesel Mechanic who wants stability, excellent pay, and proper workshop support , this is an opportunity worth chasing.
