Opportunities This register may be used to fill a range of available opportunities across LGIRS, including: Fixed-term appointments to cover leave, acting or other vacancies, or projects with a finite life, Secondments opportunities for employees in the wider Public Sector, and Permanent appointments (in limited circumstances).
Positions may be available in a range of roles and the register is actively monitored for positions in these areas: Policy, Strategy and Reform Project and Business Improvement Regulatory, Compliance and Investigation Inspection and Technical Specialist Legal and Legislative Services Finance and Procurement Services Human Resources and Workforce Services Communications,



Media and Stakeholder Engagement Customer Service and Licensing Data, Research and Intelligence Information Management and Corporate Services Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Cyber Security Engineering and Scientific Services Administrative and Business Support Being on the register does not guarantee employment, but you may be contacted if a suitable opportunity arises.
Eligibility You must be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or hold a visa that entitles you to live and work in Australia for the term of the employment contract.
To be employed with LGIRS, you must meet the pre-employment requirements of the position and provide consent to undertake relevant pre-employment screening, which may include a Conflict of Interest Declaration, medical assessment, psychometric assessment, Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC), and/or other relevant checks and clearances.
