Carpenter – Job Advertisement Position: Full-Time Carpenter Location: [Burnside, VIC] Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Superannuation About the Role We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our growing construction team.
The successful applicant will work on residential and commercial building projects, delivering high-quality carpentry work while maintaining a solid commitment to workplace safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.
Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other building materials.
Construct, install and repair frameworks, walls, roofs, flooring, staircases, doors and windows.
Install skirting boards, architraves, cabinetry and other fixtures.
Carry out formwork, cladding, decking and renovation work as required.
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and building regulations.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with WHS requirements.
Work collaboratively with supervisors, tradespeople and clients to complete projects on schedule.




Essential Requirements AQF Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
At least 1 year of relevant post-qualification work experience .
Sound knowledge of construction methods, building codes and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Proficient in using hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
Desirable Experience in residential and commercial construction.
Working at Heights, EWP or First Aid certification.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
