D365 Development Lead Contract for 12 months with possible extension| Brisbane CBD | Hybrid Working We're partnering with a major Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Development Lead.
In this role you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery of a RAR service-line pod made up of Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, and Developers.
The role ensures the pod can convert business priorities and solution architecture into explicit, refined, estimated, build-ready, tested, and releasable outcomes.
What you'll be doing Lead the day-to-day delivery of a RAR service-line pod made up of Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, and Developers.
Coordinate pod activities across discovery, refinement, design support, build, configuration, development, test support, defect resolution, release readiness, and continuous improvement.
Work with Business Analysts and Functional Analysts to ensure requirements, acceptance criteria, process models, data requirements, configuration specifications, and test scenarios are clear, testable, and build-ready.
Work with the Solution Architect to translate approved solution designs, design decisions, shared component patterns, and enterprise ecosystem guidance into practical implementation tasks.
Lead delivery of Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, Power Pages, Azure, and related solution components for assigned RAR service lines.
Guide Functional Analysts and Developers on when to use platform configuration, Power Automate, plug-ins, custom APIs, PCF controls, Power Pages customisation, Azure services, or other approved extension patterns.




Establish and maintain clear development, configuration, and review expectations for the pod.
Review or oversee review of code, configuration, pull requests, solution changes, Power Platform artefacts, technical designs, and deployment packages.
What we're looking for Experience delivering government, regulatory, mining, resources, licensing, permitting, compliance, grants, case management, or complex application assessment solutions.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse Link to Fabric, OneLake, Power BI, reporting requirements, semantic models, and analytical data consumption.
Experience with Playwright, Azure DevOps Test Plans, automated regression testing, traceability, and release quality evidence.
Experience with Maptaskr, ESRI, spatial data, resource authority mapping, geospatial overlays, or map based operational workflows.
Experience with DocumentCorePack, DocuSign, document generation, document management, e signature, correspondence, or notification patterns.
Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, Scrum, Agile delivery, DevOps, software engineering, or solution delivery certifications.
