Commercial Fit-Out Refurbishment Projects | Melbourne CBD Inner Suburbs An established and highly regarded commercial construction company is seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to join their team on a 2–3 month contract basis .
Specialising in refurbishment, fit-out and small works projects across the commercial and education sectors , this contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects and maintaining long-term client relationships.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their project management experience while remaining hands-on across contract administration, project coordination and delivery.
The Role Working closely with senior project staff, your responsibilities will include: Assisting in the delivery of refurbishment and fit-out projects Managing multiple small works projects simultaneously Contract administration and project documentation Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers Reviewing and processing variations, progress claims and invoices Coordinating subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders Monitoring project programmes, budgets and quality outcomes Supporting site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently Client liaison and regular project reporting About You To be successful in this position, you will ideally possess: 3–6 years' experience in a Contract Administrator,



Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager role Experience working on commercial fit-out, refurbishment, education or building projects Sound understanding of construction contracts and project administration Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Building, Engineering or similar Knowledge of Procore, Jobpac, Hammertech or similar project management platforms will be advantageous What's On Offer Immediate start available Contract opportunity for approximately 2–3 months Exposure to a diverse portfolio of commercial and education projects Supportive and collaborative team setting Melbourne-based projects with limited travel requirements Attractive hourly rate of $75–$85 per hour + Superannuation , depending on experience Apply If you're looking for a short-term opportunity with a respected builder delivering quality refurbishment and fit-out projects across Melbourne, we'd love to hear from you.
