Job description – Nurseryperson Plant Cultivation and Maintenance Propagate, plant, and transplant seedlings and mature plants.
Maintain the health of plants using appropriate techniques.
Water, fertilise, and manage pest control for all plant stock.
Nursery Operations Monitor and manage growing environments, including temperature, humidity, and light.
Operate and maintain irrigation systems.
Prepare plants for sale or distribution by packaging and labelling appropriately.
Inventory and Stock Management Maintain accurate records of plant stock, growth cycles, and health issues.
Inspect incoming stock and materials for quality assurance.
Health and Safety Ensure compliance with safety standards in the nursery.
Maintain tools, equipment,
and machinery in a safe and operational condition.
Customer Service and Engagement Provide advice to customers on plant care and maintenance.
Assist in responding to customer inquiries or resolving concerns about nursery products.
Requirement: AQF Certificate III, including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a nursery and possess the ability to work individually or in a group to achieve set tasks.
