Role Description This full-time, in office General Practitioner role is based at Doy Street Medical Centre in the Greater Melbourne Area.
We offer %***** of billing to the right candidate.The General Practitioner will provide primary and family medical care, including patient consultations, examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions.
Responsibilities include ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, coordinating care with nursing and allied health professionals, and maintaining accurate clinical records.
The role also involves participating in health promotion,



preventative care, and patient education, as well as contributing to practice meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement activities.
Qualifications Strong clinical skills in Medicine and Primary Care, with experience in community or general practice settings.
Competence in Family Medicine, including management of patients across all life stages.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing and other health professionals in a multidisciplinary team.
Experience in Training, mentoring, or supervising medical or nursing staff is an advantage.
Relevant medical degree and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate medical board in Australia.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a respectful and inclusive approach to patients and colleagues.
