We're seeking a proactive and organised DC Administrator to join our logistics operations.
Reporting into the DC Admin Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly by accurately booking orders into our ERP system (Navision) and releasing them to the distribution centre floor for picking.
Based at our busy distribution hub, you will handle end-to-end administration tasks, liaise with drivers, manage returns, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure our customers receive a world-class service experience.
As a DC Administrator You'll: Manage the entry of stock movements—including receipts, dispatches, and returns—into the Navision ERP system.
Ensure timely, accurate entry of all operational data and the meticulous upkeep of records.
Raise and reconcile driver manifests efficiently.
Process Sales Return Orders (SROs) and raise sales orders for re-deliveries and changeovers within 24 hours of return.
Manage Vendor Return/Credit Claims, including logging and following up within 24 hours.
Liaise with Central Administration to investigate and resolve outstanding SROs.
Coordinate damage/clearance items for sale through the Grays Online clearance store.
Maintain all invoice and inventory records properly for audit purposes.
Handle telephone and administration enquiries from drivers, the Customer Experience team, and internal stakeholders.
Establish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service, working through ad hoc queries to resolution.
Identify process efficiencies, embrace change, and maintain the flexibility to re-order your day based on customer or manager requests.
Adhere to the company Code of Conduct and actively champion OHS policies, ensuring all incidents or injuries are reported.
You'll have: Very strong administrative and organisational capabilities with high attention to detail.
Intermediate computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and experience utilizing large ERP systems (Navision experience is highly regarded).
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
A proactive, "can-do" approach with the ability to work collaboratively as an excellent team player.
A strong commitment to safety and a safety-focused mindset.
Flexibility and adaptability to handle evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
