POSITION OVERVIEW The Facade Project Manager at Hickory leads facade projects from start to finish, overseeing design, procurement, manufacturing, delivery, and installation.
They coordinate teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure projects meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
This role involves problem-solving, maintaining safety and compliance, and addressing technical challenges to keep projects running smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES Design Coordination Scope Management: Lead design reviews, ensure alignment with project goals, and manage scope to meet budgets and timelines.
Specialist Engagement Leadership: Select and engage specialized professionals, such as engineers, and lead design meetings to ensure progress.
Procurement Material Management: Oversee sourcing, procurement, and validation of façade materials, ensuring they meet project specifications and quality standards.
Supplier Contractor Management: Select and manage suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring they meet project requirements and timelines.
Cost Budget Control: Develop accurate cost estimates, track expenses, and manage the budget to ensure financial adherence throughout the project.
Quality Assurance Compliance: Monitor and enforce quality standards, ensuring adherence to building codes, industry standards, and safety protocols.
Project Scheduling Milestone Management: Create and manage project timelines,



defining delivery milestones and ensuring timely execution of façade elements.
On-Site Coordination Issue Resolution: Oversee on-site implementation, manage defects and rectifications, and coordinate between technical teams to resolve issues.
Stakeholder Communication Reporting: Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
Continuous Improvement Knowledge Sharing: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing project insights and staying updated on industry trends.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in facade system project management within the construction industry Experience in managing the entire lifecycle of facade projects, from conception to completion Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects, adhering to budgets and schedules Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively Comprehensive understanding of building codes, regulations and industry standards related to facade systems Familiarity with design software (eg, AutoCAD, BIM) and other relevant technical tools Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications and technical documents Proficiency in negotiating contracts with suppliers, subcontractors and stakeholders If this sounds like your next prospect, we would love to hear from you as soon as possible!
