This is a full-time opportunity supporting a diverse portfolio of projects, including urban land development, subdivision and civil infrastructure road projects across the South East Queensland region.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will provide technical advice and support across the planning, coordination, delivery and supervision of construction projects.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and to the required quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of urban development, subdivision and road infrastructure projects.
Monitoring project progress,
meeting key milestones and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Developing and maintaining effective construction programs and methodologies.
Coordinating technical aspects of construction and delivery activities.
Conducting quality assurance and ensuring works comply with approved plans, specifications, Australian Standards and relevant legislation.
Preparing financial reports, cost forecasts and project updates.
Assisting with project administration, documentation and record keeping.
Reviewing, negotiating and administering contracts, specifications and subcontractor arrangements.
Identifying project risks and implementing practical solutions to maintain progress.
Promoting and maintaining safe working conditions for employees, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
Leading, engaging and influencing project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
Essential Skills and Attributes Bachelor of Engineering, preferably in Civil Engineering.
Construction White Card.
Background in civil engineering, construction and project delivery, with demonstrated experience delivering projects in the field.
Experience across one or more of the following project types: urban development, subdivision, roads or broader civil infrastructure.
Proven project management, planning and coordination skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus on priorities and deadlines.
Strong understanding of contracts, specifications, Australian Standards and construction requirements.
Highly effective negotiation, evaluation and contract administration skills.
Strong planning, organisational, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead, motivate and influence others.
Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
