The Role As a Joinery Draftsman, you'll work closely with project managers, estimators, production teams and installers to produce accurate manufacturing drawings and documentation for custom joinery projects.
Responsibilities Produce detailed shop drawings and manufacturing documentation.
Prepare cutting lists, CNC-ready files and production information.
Interpret architectural and construction drawings.
Liaise with clients, architects, designers and internal production teams.
Ensure drawings comply with Australian standards and project specifications.
Assist with project coordination from design through to manufacture.
Skills Experience Minimum 3 years' experience as a Joinery Draftsman within the cabinet making/joinery industry.
Strong understanding of commercial and/or residential joinery construction methods.
Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
Experience with one or more of the following is highly regarded: Cabinet Vision Microvellum Mozaik AutoCAD What's On Offer Salary between $80,000 - $100,000 + Super (depending on experience).
