The Department for
Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people
and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public
transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the
State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential
and important government services to our community
The
Opportunity
The Pavement Marking
Program Manager leads the development, delivery and performance
monitoring of the annual statewide pavement marking program.
The
role analyses network data to inform works, manages risk to ensure
safe and sustainable outcomes, and contributes to contract
management and audits.
It provides expert advice in support of
continuous improvement and maintenance of specifications and
standards to ensure best practice across the road
network.
About
you
You
are an analytical, organised and collaborative professional who
fosters cooperation, drives change and supports open knowledge
sharing.
You bring significant experience managing complex
programs, resources and performance outcomes, with the ability to
work autonomously and exercise sound judgement.
You'll also ensure strong
risk management practices are in place, maintaining high standards
of safety, quality, and sustainability for maintenance services and
programs.
This role is a dual call
and is being advertised at the PO3, TGO5, and ASO6 classification
levels, in which the successful applicant will be appointed at the
classification level commensurate with their skills and
experience.
Educational Qualifications
/ licences
PO3:
A Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant
discipline.
TGO5:
A relevant Diploma or Advanced Diploma or recognised
qualification approved as being appropriate to the
Construction/Engineering Career group, including engineering
design/ drafting, estimating/specifications, construction and
support, road construction and/or maintenance, traffic
management and road safety auditing.
AS06:
Project Management experience working in road infrastructure or
related field of a similar magnitude and complexity or
experience in the development of maintenance programs and
interface with contractors in delivery of programs.
A current Driver's Licence
is essential.
Special
Conditions
A National Police
Check (NPC) is required prior to employment with the Department
for Infrastructure and Transport and is required to be renewed
every three years.
Some out of hours and
weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring
overnight stays, may be required.
Remuneration
PO3 - $111,870 to
$119,994 pa + superannuation.
TGO5 - $105,747 to
$111,854 pa + superannuation.
ASO6 - $105,747 to
$111,854 pa + superannuation.
