Mensa Dining Room and Bar is seeking enthusiastic and professional
Waiters
to join our hospitality team on a

As a Waiter, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience through attentive service, product knowledge, and genuine hospitality.
Key responsibilities
Greeting and seating guests promptly and courteously upon arrival
Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Recommending menu items, wines, and other beverages to enhance the guest experience
Serving food and drinks in a professional and timely manner, adhering to food safety standards
Clearing tables and resetting them for subsequent guests
Processing payments and managing transactions with accuracy
Responding to guest requests and resolving any concerns with professionalism and discretion
Maintaining knowledge of menu items, allergens, and ingredient information
Supporting the team with general dining room duties and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations
What we're looking for
Previous experience working as a Waiter or in a similar waitstaff role within a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele
Strong attention to detail, particularly when taking orders and processing payments
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure




Physical capability to stand for extended periods and carry trays safely
Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards, or willingness to learn
A genuine passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Desirable: RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or willingness to obtain it
