Casual Turf Installer
to join our growing installation team.
Working as part of a
three-person turf installation crew
, you will install premium turf across residential and commercial properties throughout the Cairns region.
This is a hands-on outdoor role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, working as part of a team, and taking pride in delivering quality results.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Installing turf at domestic and commercial properties to company quality standards
Preparing, laying, cutting, joining, and finishing turf professionally
Handling turf products safely to minimise damage and wastage
Using hand tools, turf rollers, and installation equipment
Applying fertilisers safely in accordance with company procedures
Maintaining clean, safe, and professional worksites
Communicating respectfully with customers, supervisors, and team members
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A current driver's licence and your own car are essential
The ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
The ability to work well within a small team
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Experience is not essential — we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates reliability, commitment, and the right attitude.
