As a Draftsperson with AES, you are responsible for producing
detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and specifications that
support the manufacture of high-quality truck and body-building
solutions

In this role you will be responsible
for:
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, models, and technical
specifications for water trucks, service vehicles, and
body-building components
Review and revise designs to ensure accuracy, quality, and
compliance with project requirements
Manage engineering documentation using SolidWorks PDM
(Product Data Management)
Collaborate with Operations, Production, and Engineering
teams to translate project requirements into practical design
solutions




Support continuous improvement initiatives by incorporating
industry best practices and emerging technologies into
designs
Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian standards
and manufacturing requirements
What we are looking for
Australian Drivers Licence
Relevant degree or certificate in Mechanical Engineering or
drafting
Experience in a body building / equipment manufacturing
business
In-depth knowledge of welding manufacturing processes and
mechanical design principles
Ability to work collaboratively in team setting and
communicate effectively with colleagues across multiple
departments
