The role:
Right now, we have a
Sales
position available.
This position is based at our
Launceston
store on a
part-time
basis, with approximately 20 hours per week.
The successful applicant must be able to work weekends.
What you'll be doing:
Serve as the first point of contact for customer service from the public and via our website
Advise customers on the status of their order and follow-up queries
Meeting or exceeding sales goals
Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients
Skills and experience:
You will have a high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent time management skills.
You will be able to prioritise and re-prioritise effectively.
Well-presented with a warm, friendly, resilient, and team-spirited personality, you are able to show initiative, be reliable, responsible and punctual.
Experience and understanding of sales / retail environments
An energetic and enthusiastic approach with a willingness to engage customers.




Solid initiative, motivation, and enthusiasm.
Demonstrate a customer focus in all behaviours which may include handling challenging and complex customer service enquiries
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to use active listening and questioning skills
Problem solving and conflict resolution skills to provide solutions to customer needs in a timely manner
A friendly, responsible, positive nature and a pro-active, problem solver demeanor
