Role
As an AWS Incident Response Team (IRT) Analyst within the Physical Security Operations Centre (PSOC), you will be the first line of defence for critical cloud infrastructure.
Your duties include:
Respond to physical security events in real time
Coordinate contracted guard forces and administer access control systems
Gather intelligence to keep people, operations, and infrastructure safe
Monitor access control systems, ensuring only authorised personnel move through sensitive spaces
Escalate and resolve incidents, determine root causes, and recommend improvements
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Distribute program‐wide notifications and manage communications with stakeholders
Handle trouble tickets and provide technical support to internal stakeholders

Responsibilities
Key job responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain SOPs
Administer physical access control
Monitor physical security systems
Coordinate a contracted guard force
Incident response: assess, escalations and resolution
Intelligence gathering and program‐wide notifications
Manage internal and external email and phone communications
Triage trouble tickets and handle incoming queries
Provide technical support to internal stakeholders

Basic Qualifications
Experience in physical security best practices, including system application, investigation techniques, contract guard management, and incident management.
Clear and concise communication with leadership, stakeholders and cross‐functional teams.
3+ years of experience in a Physical Security Operations Centre monitoring and response role.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with physical security control and surveillance systems.
Certificate III in Security Operations or equivalent.
