My client is a well-funded explorattion company who are ramping up for a busy year in exploraiton in ****They are currently looking for a Project Geologist to join a small, highly capable team at the early stages of an exciting copper-gold project.If you're someone who enjoys turning grassroots datasets into real targets and taking ownership of drilling, mapping, and geochem programs - this is a role with plenty of scope and exciting potential.About the RoleLead the planning and execution of mapping, sampling, and drilling programsSupervise contractors and ensure field programs run safely and efficientlyConduct logging, QA/QC, and data management using industry toolsIntegrate geochem, geophysics, and structural mapping to define targetsLiaise with database and geophysics teams to support interpretationPrepare clear technical reports and updates for internal and external stakeholdersWork closely with senior decision-makers in a team-oriented, down-to-earth teamAbout YouDegree qualified geologist with around 5 -10 years' experience in explorationBackground in copper or gold systems - porphyry, VMS,
or epithermal experience idealStrong field capabilities - able to run programs and lead contractor teamsComfortable working with early-stage datasets and refining exploration plansFamiliar with software such as QGIS, Micromine, Leapfrog, or Geoscience AnalystStrong communicator who can work independently and as part of a small teamWilling to travel for short field campaigns (max 2 weeks at a time)What's in it for You?
