What's the role?
/n
We are looking for an experienced Shift Electrician to join the well-established Qube team at the Utah Point Port Facility in Port Hedland, WA.
/n
The Shift Electrician is responsible for the daily operation, inspection, repair and maintenance of electrical work inline with overall operational requirements.
/n

- Even-time 7-on/7-off – 12 hour shifts

- Day shifts mainly – night shifts only when operationally required

Qualifications And Experience
/n
/n
- Must have an Electrical Fitter or Electrical Mechanic trade certificate – 'A' Grade WA Endorsed
/n
- Essential to have High Voltage Ticket
/n
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Fixed Plant or Mobile Plant mining environment
/n
- Capability to demonstrate leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve results
/n
- An understanding of safety & compliance practices and regulations within the industry, including an understanding of the chain of responsibility
/n
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to communicate with a variety of people
/n
- Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed
/n
- Ability to identify and record deficiencies relating to products and services
/n
- Ability to be flexible & adaptable to work in a demanding environment
/n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
/n
- Good mechanical aptitude
