Electrical Reliability Engineer
- 5/2, 4/3 Roster | Day Shifts Only
- FIFO from Adelaide or Residential role
- $90 per hour
About our Client
Our leading global mining and resource client is a leading producer of iron ore, copper, metallurgical coal, nickel and potash. As part of their Minerals Australia operation, you will have the opportunity to work onsite with one of the world's most significant deposits of copper, gold and uranium including underground and surface operations and operates a fully integrated processing facility from ore to metal.
What you will be doing
Monitor equipment performance, analyse failure trends and identify root causes of recurring issues.
Lead and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major electrical and operational asset failures.
Establish and maintain a pipeline of defect elimination opportunities.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies for fixed plant assets.
Optimise preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance department.
Review maintenance history and asset performance data to improve equipment lifecycle management.
Work collaboratively with maintenance planners, supervisors and operations personnel to minimise unplanned downtime.
What you will need
5+ years' experience in electrical engineering, reliability engineering or maintenance engineering within mining, minerals processing, heavy industry, oil and gas,
utilities or manufacturing.
Demonstrate visible and proactive safety leadership in all aspects of work.
Demonstrated experience conducting RCA and reliability investigations.
Experience developing maintenance strategies and defect elimination programs.
Solid knowledge of electrical asset management principles.
Understanding of condition monitoring and predictive maintenance techniques.
Experience using SAP or equivalent CMMS platforms.
