An independent public sector organisation in Sydney is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to protect critical national digital infrastructure, respond to evolving threats, and continuously uplift Microsoft Azure cloud security. In this high-impact role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding core enterprise systems and high-value data assets.
Primary Duties
Threat Detection: Monitor security tools, including SIEM, Sentinel, and EDR, to proactively detect, analyze, and investigate enterprise threats.
Cloud Administration: Administer, configure, and uplift security baselines across Microsoft Azure and M365 environments using Entra ID.
Incident Response: Run cyber incident response, perform routine vulnerability management assessments, and ensure ACSC Essential Eight compliance.
Key Skills
Hands-on expertise in Cyber Security, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, SIEM, and Entra ID.
Demonstrated capabilities in Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, and Essential Eight frameworks.
