Telehealth Doctor / Telehealth General Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our agile telehealth team. In this contract role, you will provide high-quality remote healthcare to patients across Australia from the comfort of your own home, playing a vital role in expanding access to medical care and supporting patient wellbeing.

We are currently looking to cover WEEKDAY EVENINGS & WEEKEND EVENINGS — making this role well suited to a GP looking to supplement an existing practice or build adaptable regular days into their week.

What you'll be doing

- Conduct telehealth consultations via video and/or phone with patients ranging from city centres to remote outback regions

- Provide travel health advice and consultations as part of your patient mix

- Issue prescriptions, referrals, pathology and imaging requests where appropriate

- No Medicare — private billings

What we're looking for

- Valid AHPRA registration in Australia

- Minimum 1 year's post-registration experience in a primary care setting





- Travel health/medicine experience or a genuine interest in developing in this area (highly desirable)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with patients remotely

- Proficiency with digital health technologies and electronic medical records

- A commitment to embracing new technologies and delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
