About the role

Venn Financial Group is a fast-growing, client-focused, innovative financial services firm working with individuals, families, and small to medium businesses across various industries all over Australia.

Due to our expansion, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team and contribute to our firm's culture and client relationships.

As such, now is a perfect time to join our team and enjoy a role offering variety across taxation and compliance, business advisory services, and self-managed superannuation fund services.

Working directly alongside the Manager and Partner, this full-time permanent role will involve:

- Preparation of Activity Statements, Tax Returns, including FBT returns, and Financial Statements for a broad range of clients.

- Preparation of QBCC Financial Statements.

- Real client contact, including building strong client relationships

- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of ad hoc business advisory matters.

- Other accounting duties as required.

Experience and qualifications

- CPA/CA qualified or working towards it.

- 3+ years of Public Practice experience and a solid understanding of tax and compliance.

- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and a qualified attitude.

- Strong time management skills, with an ability to prioritise and manage your own workload and adapt to changing circumstances, whilst maintaining attention to detail and a commitment to deadlines.

- Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a current, valid Australian work visa - English proficiency is a must.
