ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Warehousing Storeperson with drive, passion, and commitment to getting the job done – “on time, every time”.
We’re looking for a driven individual who thrives on working in a team environment. Mainfreight can offer excellent support, training, mentorship, and workplace culture.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure freight is loaded/unloaded as efficiently and safely as possible.
- Ensure inbound freight is checked off to ensure everything has been received.
- Ensure that all freight arriving into the depot has the correct paperwork
- Ensure all legislative requirements are followed in terms of CoR and safety
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- A valid forklift licence
- A can-do attitude
- Be a team player and have passion in everything they do
- The ability to be decisive and quick paced but in a safe way
- Time management skills
- The ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multitask
