About the Opportunity:

This is a role for a Finance Manager who likes being trusted, challenged and busy.

Our client is a global enterprise undergoing a significant period of growth, following a series of strategic acquisitions. As newly acquired entities are brought into the fold, the finance function is being reshaped, processes are being standardised and reporting is becoming increasingly complex.
They are now looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of a small team of Financial Accountants and help bring structure, clarity and consistency to the function.

Reporting directly to an experienced and highly regarded Finance Director, you will have the freedom to run your area without constant supervision, while still having access to genuine strategic support and mentorship when it matters.
This urgent contract opportunity offers a clearly defined pathway to a permanent position for the right person.

What You’ll Be Doing;

- Lead and develop a small finance team: Provide direction, coaching and support while setting clear expectations and maintaining high standards.
- Help integrate recent acquisitions: Standardise processes, align reporting frameworks and connect new entities to the broader global finance structure.
- Own complex consolidations: Oversee multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations, ensuring accurate reporting and meaningful insights for senior stakeholders.
- Improve systems and processes: Identify practical improvements and support continued enhancements within the Oracle ERP workplace.
- Strengthen financial governance: Maintain effective controls, manage compliance requirements and act as a technical point of reference for the wider team.
- Bring calm to change: Cut through ambiguity,



prioritise what matters and help the function move forward during an important stage of its development.

What We’re Looking For;

You will be an autonomous, commercially minded finance qualified who can step into a changing environment, quickly understand what needs to be done and get on with doing it.
You may be an established Finance Manager, or you may be a strong “first mover” from the Big Four looking for broader operational ownership. Either way, you will need demonstrated people leadership experience and the confidence to operate independently.

You’ll ideally bring:

- CA, CPA or an equivalent professional accounting designation.
- Proven experience operating as a Finance Manager, or comparable experience from a Big Four environment.
- Experience leading, mentoring or developing team members.
- A background in logistics, freight, shipping or supply chain is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on exposure to M&A; integration and multi-entity consolidations.
- Experience with a large-scale enterprise ERP. Oracle experience will be highly regarded.
- A self-directed, practical and collaborative approach.
- Availability to commence immediately or at short notice.
