Position Overview:

We are looking for an Experienced Solicitor (2 years PAE) to join the team in Corporate & Family law team initially as a temporary parental leave replacement with possibility of permanent role in Melbourne and contribute to the broader firm matters as and when required. You will be an experienced, capable Solicitor that has been able to lead matters end to end including litigation, client management and court appearances.

Ideally you would already have a case load and could bring this network into the firm, whereby you would be recognised and rewarded appropriately.

A lawyer’s job is dynamic, it is not merely about writing advice, going to court, or even just counselling.

To succeed at Banga Legal in this role you will:

- Be prepared to drive cases forward to successful conclusions for our clients

- have previous experience in a corporate & family law workplace

- be willing to be proactive, ask questions and curious

- be reliable and trustworthy in relation to conducting work independently;

- be able to work both independently and as part of a team;

- have an attention to detail;

- have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal sensitively and confidentially with clients;

- have a professional manner;

- familiar with technology in particular MS Office suite of tools

- Demonstrate values such as creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to challenge conventional practices, while also recognizing the importance of hard work and dedication.
