Your new role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Crane Technician - (Mechanical / Electrical) to join a growing team working across various mine sites throughout the Bowen Basin. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, fault-finding and repair of overhead cranes, jib cranes and associated lifting equipment.
Working a 4/3 roster with 12-hour shifts, you will support a range of mining clients while contributing to secure and efficient site operations.
This is a long-term opportunity with an ASAP start for the right candidate.
What you'll need to succeed
Current Electrical Licence or Mechanical Trade Certificate
Current Driver's Licence
Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
Current Coal Board Medical
Current LVR/CPR Certification (for electrical only)
Experience working on overhead and/or jib cranes highly regarded
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Commitment to maintaining high safety standards
Must be residentially based in Mackay
