Zoom Recruitment is currently seeking a Machine Operator – Steel Reinforcing to join a busy production team based in Eagle Farm.

About the Role
Working within a busy steel reinforcing facility, you will operate machinery including Gantry Crane & CNC Machinery used in the processing and fabrication of reinforcing steel products. This is a fast-paced production environment where safety, quality, and teamwork are highly valued. Full time opportunities are available and will be offered to candidates who show a commitment to their work and a desire to grow in the steel industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate steel processing machinery and gantry cranes
- Perform repetitive manual handling tasks (up to 10kg)
- Complete basic quality checks
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
About You
- Previous machine operating, manufacturing, or gantry crane experience (advantageous)
- Basic welding experience (MIG – desirable)
- The ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable with a robust work ethic
- The ability to communicate & work effectively within a team
- Full Australian working rights (essential)
