This is a full-time Green Keeping Apprentice position at the Harden Country Club in Harden, NSW 2587. As part of the Trades & Services - Gardening & Landscaping team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the club's grounds and golf course, learning valuable skills and working towards achieving your qualifications.

Applicants must be at least 15 years of age to be eligible for this apprenticeship position.

1st and 2nd year apprentices are also encouraged to apply

Mature aged apprentices considered

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Green Keeping team in the day-to-day maintenance of the golf course, including mowing, edging, divot repair, and other general grounds keeping duties

Developing skills in operating and maintaining a variety of turf maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and sprayers

Participating in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems

Helping with the preparation and renovation of greens, tees, and fairways

Identifying and treating weeds, pests, and diseases affecting the turf

Completing relevant training and obtaining a Certificate III qualification in Sports Turf Management
