We are seeking a motivated, hands‑on Logistics Manger/Stock Controller to join our Warrnambool team. This is a diverse role that combines transport coordination, stock control and forklift operations to ensure our products are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate customer deliveries, schedules and site delivery requirements.
- Manage the maintenance schedules and servicing of company trucks, trailers and forklifts.
- Control timber stock levels, including ordering and inventory management.
- Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Complete delivery documentation and coordinate daily dispatch activities.
- Manage company drivers, including scheduling, compliance and daily operations.
- Ensure deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with customer requirements.
- Maintain a safe, organised and efficient transport yard.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by coordinating deliveries, resolving issues promptly and ensuring a seamless delivery experience.
- Previous experience in transport, logistics or stock control.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a hands‑on role.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
