We are currently supporting a US-headquartered design, engineering and construction management firm with its expansion across Australia.

The business is looking to appoint a Construction Manager with experience delivering data centre, mission-critical or technically complex construction projects.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for on-site delivery, contractor coordination, programme management, quality and safety throughout the construction phase.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day construction activities across major project workstreams
- Coordinate principal contractors, subcontractors, consultants and vendors
- Monitor project schedules, construction progress and key milestones
- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with design requirements
- Review construction documentation, method statements and installation plans
- Lead site meetings and communicate progress to project stakeholders
- Identify and resolve construction, design and sequencing issues
- Support quality inspections, testing,



commissioning and project close-out
- Maintain accurate reporting across programme, risk, cost and delivery performance

What we are looking for:

- Construction management experience within data centres, mission-critical facilities or complex commercial projects
- Robust understanding of MEP-intensive construction environments
- Experience managing contractors, site teams and multiple project stakeholders
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, programmes and technical documentation
- Strong knowledge of site safety, quality assurance and construction sequencing
- Confident communication and leadership skills
- A relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, building or a related discipline
