Cleans warehouse floors, offices, breakrooms and restrooms.
Follows departmental standards for cleanliness and performance of duties.
Restocks supplies.
Emties trash from designated areas throughout the warehouse.
Pulls merchandise slip sheets and loose cardboard from sales floor.
Operates garbage compactor and cardboard baler.
Checks daily schedule for assigned routine tasks and maintenance repair jobs.
Paints, replaces bulbs, maintains equipment, and performs routine repairs throughout the warehouse.
Assists with installing and repairing building displays and fixtures.
Purchases supplies and parts needed for projects.
Maintains grounds outside warehouse including blowing leaves, picking up litter,
roof checks and building maintenance.
Follows proper maintenance and general safety and security procdures, such as tagging and locking off power access when working on electrical equipment, wearing safety goggles when using compactor, baler and product disposal.Responds quickly to and cleans up spills.
Experience : Janitorial, maintenance or comparable experience.
ABILITIES AND TALENTS RECOMMENDED FOR JOB SUCCESS
High School certificate or higher
